well we did much better than Spain (who could also have come out if the referee hadn't helped them).
I'm a globetrotter and I'm proud of it!

I kinda agree... putting up an event like this costs a lot, stadia must be built or recovered to meet UEFA's standards, and especially with this situation it'd be harsh to do it for 1-2 nations. It'll be like a special qualifying round and more people can see the big matches... and it divides costs much more among organizing cities. And countries that normally donn't qualify or organize could see a big match being held closer to them.
