Might be nice to get some of that money you burnt on Portugal back!

I'll break even.

That said, it would be a travesty if this generation of Germans don't win anything.

Might make them not "expect" to win a competition. In football you shouldn't really expect anything, it should always be a "hope" to win something.

I'm sure the players approached the tournament professionally. You can't blame them for the arrogance of their fans.

It's a good job Italy are 2-0 up because Di Natale is having a shocker - he's missed three sitters.

great to see Italy win, Platini suck it!!
Germany started to be better, then Balotelli (the most motivated player of the tournament) scored a great header and an amazing shot in which Neuer didn't even move a finger!!

Italy has been doing much better than Spain and they've been fighting much more, Balotelli is a fighter and he showed a great work, plus there's Pirlo, Diamanti, Buffon...

They held Spain to a draw - they could do it.

I hope they do. Sadly I don't think they will.

She's probably thinking about all those millions of euros she's pumped into the Italian economy. She has just realised they bought a decent football team with it!

If and when it comes to selling Balotelli, Man City should be quids in.

England never had a golden generation - it was all media hyperbole.
