Was nice to see the Brazilian team run their knackers off for Neymar last night, before the game they said they'd play and win for him, even held his shirt up during the national anthem  i bet he's so proud of them.

The last time there was such a big German hiding in Brazil it was Rudolph Hess....

Doesn't really work, Mr. Goo-roo. Rudolf Hess flew to Scotland in 1941 to try and broker a peace deal with Churchill, and was taken prisoner, to serve all the rest of his life either as a prisoner in Scotland, or Spandau prison in Berlin.

He was one of the only top Nazis that either didn't flee to South America, or die in Germany within a year either side of the war in Europe finishing.

Try Adolf Eichmann or Martin Boormann, they work.

On the plus side, at least it was original.

boring 1st half today, the 2nd saw a more offensive Orange, we'll see that someone will win if any midfield will fail.
Holland are slow on the attack, they could do groundbreaking passes...

so, penalties... and...
Tango vs Wurst in the final. I guess this poor Argentina will be torn into pieces by the very well tuned german machine next Sunday.

I know Argentina weren't making much of an effort either, but Holland were playing 7 at the back for most of that match and didn't deserve to win I reckon, very disappointing.

Argentina didn't give Robben any space as I predicted, and even though they did a bit more than Holland they were still way too conservative, if they play like that against Germany they will lose. Although I don't they will. They will be more attacking as they know Germany can be weak at the back, but they won't "do a Brazil" I'm sure of that.

I'm predicting 2-1 Argentina!
Hot Space is actually only my 6th favourite Queen album.
(But is a very underrated album in my opinion).

Which page is that on?

Well I'm now going to win somewhere between £50 and £100 depending who wins, that's my proof :)

Your proof is that you've backed both sides?

Yeah, before the World Cup started, i bet on 2 teams to win it, Germany and Argentina. So my ideal final (in terms of winning money) would be these 2 in the final thus ensuring 1 of them winning, which is what has happened!

I realise that's not the exactly the same as me predicting a Germany v Argentina final, but it's near enough for me :-D

So the other 62 betting slips are now conveniently forgotten?

Haha, yeah

But i did only bet on 2 teams to actually win the thing before it all started, Argentina and Germany.

All my other bets have been on individual matches, nowhere near 62 bets and yes I am down but only by about £20 on those so far overall, i just bet about £5 a match when watching it for a bit of fun, and won 4 in a row at one point.

But will of course have a net win now due to Germany or Argentina actually winning it :)

I'm obviously hoping for a Germany win in terms of cash, but would prefer Argentina to win, and do think they'll win 2-1 as I said before, anyone else?
