Does that make elimination more palatable? Would a full strength side have had a chance at actually going through?

..and how dodgy was that ref?

Doubt it. Dodgy linesman in the first leg?

And now our first point at Old Trafford since 1924. Jose not happy. To be fair, we probably could have gotten a red card although that player's yellow card earlier was a joke. Then United claimed a penalty when Zlata clearly put his leg out and tripped our defender.

Great point though now let's replicate that on Saturday.

Oh my, what a result. :) Now we have to do the same against the so called lesser teams.

I missed the first half, but saw the "red card tackle" and it *could* have been a red in itself, although fuck knows given the refereeing this season.

Zlatan's penalty - he half appealed, I didn't see anyone else doing it. Never a pen, I agree, although we've suffered plenty worse this month / season.

Oddly, I didn't perceive the timewasting to be anything significant, especially compared to Stoke's performance which was far more blatant.

Did that really just happen?

They've always got goals in them. I think they were around 20/1 to go through before kick-off. But to go through 5-3 down on aggregate having conceded an away goal is incredible.
