Looks like La Liga are trying to stop this deal from happening.

What is more ridiculous is that he wants a £23 million loyalty bonus from Barcelona. Football these days is ridiculous at the top of the game. The Champion's League can only be won by a handful of clubs and clubs getting into the Premier League have little or no chance of staying there unless they take massive financial risks. And we fans are the ones paying for it all.
Come on you Tigers.

The only way to stop this madness is for Uefa to get tough with clubs that flaunt the fair play rules. Ban them from the Champion's League for five years would be a start. Except that would lead to the elite breaking away and starting an exclusive super league. Good riddance if they do, I wouldn't watch it.

I couldn't agree more, but sanctions for rule breaking, should have been done years ago, too late now i fear.

So with all the talk about the new season, transfers, overpriced fees, agents etc etc you would think the football authorities would have more to concern themselves with other than fancy patterns on pitches :? but apparently not, they've ruled that all Premier pitches are to have no patterns except straight lines

Still lots of transfer speculation, will Philippe Coutinho exit Liverpool for Barcelona? - can Everton & Swansea agree a price for Sigurdsson? - will Sanchez leave Arsenal?

Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho has submitted a transfer request, hours after the Premier League club released a statement saying he is not for sale.

Might as well let him go, his heads already thinking about pulling on the Barcelona shirt.

How did Mike Dean not see the blatant handball though?

Well Mike Dean as always been a liability, time he was pensioned off, he must be near that anyway.
