One of my friends, who loves rock and metal of all types went to see them when they played Hammersmith a couple of years ago when Axl, true to form, didn't get on stage until at least an hour after he should have been.

Needless to say, by the time the set had finished, so had the underground service and he was stranded in Hammersmith with only the night buses available. It took him hours to get back to Finchley.
Come on you Tigers.

That is not good, was it down to Axl or the former members?

Axl more than likely. They were an hour late onstage last night again. I like them but would not pay to see them due to his indifference to the fans.

Wow,did not know you like their music. If you like Slash he has a great facebook page on the go.
I like Axl too, but he lets people down too much, it's always something.

Watching Leeds and Reading highlights at the moment and GnR are playing November Rain. Gawd it's cringeworthy. Axl sounds like he can't sing any more, looks overweight and the guitar solo is fecking awful..

:-(

I waited for an hour and a half for the cent to get onstage only to find that even though he can still scream, he can no longer sing entire words. I was not impressed with being welcomed to the 'jung'. Should've gone to LCD Soundsystem.

Actually didn't really mind the vocals or the music at all, think its pretty good. Agree that he is pretty chubby to say the least these days and he needs a serious fashion makeover! Also dont think he needs 2/3 of the band to be there, should just get rid of the guy playing maracas and one of the guitarists. And keep Dizzy Reed for the piano based songs only. Its a bit too cabaret at times!

Slash has an expensive divorce to pay for too...you never know what this could be the start of...(yeah right!)

Axl still sounds phenomenal. Almost 50 years old, still doing the songs in their original key.

From a semi-acoustic Paris gig a few weeks back.

He hasn't sounded this good since 1993. Really cool that Duff got on stage with GNR yesterday :)

Also this is one of his best vocal performances... Sailing from Wembley in 2006:
