What did it say about the sound? If it's over compressed like most of the reissues now I'll pass on it.

Elton is going to be performing in a town near me in June. I'm going to be devastated if my work schedule doesn't allow me to go. I'll probably bribe someone to switch me shifts if need be.

Thanks. I'm going to order two tickets as a gift to my mum for Mothers Day, there's plenty for sale (but of course the affordable ones are all crap seats  ). If I'm unable to go she can take someone else with her. & I'll just stay behind and weep.

That would be lovely if you can go with your mother. More than good luck now your way from me now.

Thanks for this. pOWERDFUL
That pic will stay with me forever. I remember it back in the day, possibly being the age I was at the time, I didn't fully grasp it. Not until Ryan White passed away did I even begin to understand. It was heartbreaking then to see people so ill and die, and it still is today. Many improvements in many areas, but it's a shock to me so many stick their heads even now in the sand due to misinformation/ignorance about AIDS.
One thing about EJ he didn't sit around doing nothing, and vastly made changes, not only with his music, but his personal and charity life too.

EJ's $300 million raised for AIDS is really impressive. As wonderful as the Mercury Phoenix Trust is, they have not been able to raise even close that amount. He makes sure the money is well spent in critical places.
He is an awesome human being :!:

Sorry, I just noticed my mistake above, it was meant to be powerful, with no caps
It's honestly inspiring what he has done for AIDS. I know he is deeply involved with breast cancer too which is also inspiring.
I don't know why the MPT hasn't raised as much as the EJA foundation has. 46664 crosses my mind, that seems to be forgotten by some who performed on the day. Which is a big shame, with life threatening illnesses every penny counts for research and care.
Have you read Love Is The Cure by EJ? That is a compelling book for many reasons.

I cried buckets during parts of it.
I never ordered from Amazon, but I've got ideas for books to read from there and goodreads. I loved the book icy sparks so much, that's the one behind my usrname. I wish I could add sparks to it :-P
