I must admit I thought most of their songs were quite good a very 70s sound

Indeed. There was one, maybe the second or third song, that sounded quite Queen like.
Come on you Tigers.

The support band were sadly unintentionally hilarious - every dated cliché in the book; it took me a moment to realise that they (and the bassist in particular) took themselves totally seriously. Oh what it does for you to have a mate in a headline band.....

ps - I think I may have read somewhere that the support band's album may have been produced by Mike Moran!!

That's good. Some had to queue hours [even overnight] for the popular releases

Edit: Was there a problem at the till?

If my brother wasn't moving up North by the time that takes places, I'd be trying to meet the guys. Just to shake their hands and say thanks or something.
I am glad they are doing this again. Worthy cause no doubt in my mind, and I hope I can donate to it :D

But I'm not that brave

Rain's getting near
I'm done with running
And it's getting dark in here~

I am going to the Friday show as that was the only one being performed when I booked. If you need a hotel there is a Britannia which was doing decent deals when I booked. I got a twin room with dinner and breakfast for £83.

Ta, but it's just about within striking distance of home.
