This cheered me up today, thanks to Planet Rock. Early Monday requests were taken via the Facebook PR page. I requested any song by Thunder and I Love You More Than Rock N Roll was played 
Maybe not much of a big of a deal about the song being played, but they are never played in any Canadian stations that I've tuned into. I remember I requested it a few years ago, and the excuse given that they were compared to Bon Jovi and hair bands. Pfft.

£15 thousand was raised, very impressive! I don't know how the guys felt about Alberta weather while here, it's been very hot with very little relief.
Proud of the guys and the fans who donated, very well done. I ended up getting together with an online friend and put my donation with his, while I won't be getting anything, that is alright.

They are running a thread where they want photos from 1989, the one they like the best wins a prize. I found one of my wife drinking my pint at our wedding reception.
