Hannibal looks like it might have potential. Strong casting.
Starting soon on sky.

There is one on ITV at present in the UK starring David Tennant called Broadchurch. It is about the murder of an 11 year old boy in a seaside town in Devon. There are 8 episodes in all, six have been shown and I have not got a scooby doo on whodunnit.

Now getting into the second season of Dexter. Not a bad series at all. I'm a bit "cut up" that I never knew about it before. Season one has got me hooked, so I've been progressively working my way through buying Seasons 2-6.

After that, I think we've got the entire 24 to work through, then House, then The Shield, then West Wing, The Tudors, and a few others. I seem to be racking up boxsets as quick (if not quicker) as I can watch them!

Brilliant isn't it. You've got some huge twists and turns to look forward to. Season 4 with John Lythgoe is excellent, he won TV awards for his role. I wont give anything away. It took a bit of a dip in season 5/6 but was back on form in 7. Season 8 is supposed to be the last, actually hope it is before they run out of ideas. Mad as well to think Michael C Hall and Jennifer Carpenter have been married and divorced from each other within the lifetime of the show. Enjoy.

Although I quite like Dexter, I'm totally appalled by the morals portrayed... self-justice? Thanks, but no thanks!

I can't do a top 5, but most of my favourite tv series have been mentioned..

Although no-one's mentioned Warehouse 13, or Reaper, or V (both the original 80's and the axed reboot a few years ago)

Firefly was also brilliant, and axed. I honestly don't understand the way series are commisioned and then axed without ever being given a chance these days. Especially when you have shite like Friends that ran for so many series. I smell corruption.

That's another one I have at home but have yet to watch. And yeah, everyone I know says it was great and they can't understand why it was cut.

I only watched it until the end of Season 5.

So, what's the point of it?

Escapist entertainment.

Breaking Bad is all about a chemistry teacher with a terminal illness, who to provide for his family, starts making weapons grade crystal meth. Hardly morally correct, but if he got banged up for it, they wouldn't have a next series, would they?

Great TV though! :)

I watched the final 2 episodes of Broadchurch last night. What a superb series that was, one of the best British efforts for a long while. If anyone missed it, watch out for repeats on ITV 3-4 or check out the ITV Played. You will not be disappointed.
