Correction - LMD is now only charting in one country, Russia, where it's #117.

Music critics might have thought the song was brilliant but it doesn't look like music fans agree. I'd say any chance of it ever being a single are pretty much gone. There are other songs on the album that are doing much better, *if* Avicii decides to released a fourth single.

I'm sure NIle will be fine though, he's got lots of stuff going on!

Even with the song not being released I hope this thread continues about him. I like talking about Nile and his past works, I hope there is more music from him in the future. Most importantly I hope he remains in the clear about his illness.

Received my "True" CD yesterday. The sticker on the plastic packaging says AVICII Debut Artist Album Featuring "Wake Me Up," "You Make Me" and "Lay Me Down." Don't know if that means "Lay Me Down" will be officially released as a single.

Oh he's doing a lot of work with dance artists now so there is plenty to talk about. I just think his sound is history for top 40 and he got lucky with the first Daft Punk single because their second collaboration is flopping. IMO the problem with Nile's unique sound is that it makes every song sound the same.

Some are upset because a certain song with a certain someone hasn't been released.
I didn't realize until RPeura's post above he was so in depth in his blog, I will take the time later to read through it.

Bump... was hoping that this would have got a mention before now. I thought about asking him a question, but lost my nerve as maybe it would have been too personal.

Watched Nile last night on a programme on Sky Arts called something like " music talk " (cannot remember the actual title lol) where he sits & talks about his life & music. He came over as such a lovely bloke with so many amusing stories of his time spent with other stars, Bowie & Madonna (to name two) & now I think I'd really like to read his book.Has anyone read it ? Is it worth buying ?

Have not read it myself, but from what I've seen people say about it (on Goodreads) it's a very, good book.

I read Nile's book shortly after it was released, it's very good and very interesting. He's a natural storyteller and his love of music is infectuous.
