Take no notice of the " Neil Tennant killed in a car crash " rumours going around, just another hoax apparently.

I love the movie. One of Denzil Washington's underrated performances.

That was one fantastic performance and because of that movie, I learned the meaning of the song, Hurricane, which inspired me to look it up and read about what actually happened.

Didn't realise he was 71. You tend to forget that as we get older so do these stars that you grew up with. As mentioned already Bob was a really good actor. R.I.P.

Oh. Wow. Not sure how I didn't hear of this right away. I loved Bob Hoskins. He was in some really great films, and some really fun films - the one that always springs immediately to mind is Unleashed (Danny the Dog in the US, I think, the Jet Li film) just because it seemed he was having so much fun with it. And then there was Enemy at the Gates, where he was the only cast member who even attempted to sound Russian, despite his thick natural cockney accent completely getting in the way. That always made me smile.

RIP. Pneumonia claimed my grandfather too.

Very sad news, it was only a couple of years ago he retired from acting because of Parkinsons. RIP Bob

I watched one of his later films the other night. Forget the title but it was about a group of print workers who bought a racehorse. Just a nice, easy film to watch.

Just getting back after a long day, and it's the first report I see on the news.
Some of his movies remain favorites for me.
RIP.
