I can hear the opening lyrics and then I'm in California dreaming and later the words heart and tearing apart, but I'm lost otherwise. Maybe it IS my ears, but I don't think so. Her voice sounds great but she loses me when she's hitting those power notes.

For anyone else who has a "hearing problem" like me:

Well the album doesn't get released officially until Nov 20th, so she will not be no 1 in any official chart (UK / Billboard) until after that date. I tunes is pre order.

It happens when a world wide superstar who hasn't released music in almost 4 years releases music. Enough people rush to itunes and hit BUY and the song launches to the top of the chart. Word of mouth will let more and more people know that Adele has new music and more people will hit BUY based on the success of her last album and because she's genuinely talented.

I'm gonna sound like icy when I ask this but oh well....would you question how it happened if it were Adam??

Not even in the top 40 yet as the single hasn ' t been officially released yet. I believe it had its worldwide premier on Radio 1 today so maybe it will be out just before the album which would be around the 10 th of november.

I think today IS the official worldwide release date for the single, "Hello!"

She doesn't have to fly all over the world to promote it because she is a proven money machine!

"'Hello,' Adele, it's your fans and they've lost it over your single!"

Adele's pretty lucky -- she can put out an album every 2 to 4 years, sell millions of copies, not tour to preserve her vocal cords from getting damaged at live performances, maybe sing live once a year at the Grammys and be able to stay home the rest of the time with her family. God bless her! :)

Busy day, I just played the song and watched the video. I like. I really like :D Both are beautifully done!
~Godspeed little one~
~Don't talk about angels
Or how I'll be saved
I'm no coward
But I'm not that brave
Rags are blowing
Rain's getting near
I'm done with running
And it's getting dark in here~

~Sleep in peace old friend for me you'll never die~

She's going to save the music industry again this year. An industry damaged by the poor sales of "The Original High"......kidding!! :tomato:

I can't believe Halsey is still in the top 25 after eight weeks. As far as I know she doesn't have a big radio hit and I haven't seen much about her since its release. I did notice in Billboard today that she will be on the new Justin Bieber album. A lot of her solo dates sold out and now she's about to open for The Weeknd in big arenas, so it doesn't look like the album will be slowing down any time soon. Good for her, now this is what I would consider a successful album.

Target will have an exclusive CD of 25 with three extra tracks.

12. Can’t Let Go (Target Exclusive)
13. Lay Me Down (Target Exclusive)
14. Why Do You Love Me (Target Exclusive)

I thought one was going to be INXS' Never Tear Us Apart since she said that would be on the album but it looks like it didn't make the cut.
