"With it’s caterwauling horns and insistent groove, the track became a firm fan favourite."

This is why it sounds like the stuff he recorded along with the Happy.

Milky, you're rambling now.

If you contact Chris Porter, he will confirm it's a Faith outtake from 1987.

Just be grateful I'm here for these little nuggets. Have I ever let you down before? x

I heard that already. It's a push for the new reissue of LWP, so it's a nicer story told that way.

Excellent show, quite moving to hear how his lover was fighting HIV at the very time George was singing at the Freddie Tribute show in 1992.

Just watched it and it was excellent. I've said it many times before, but I can't express just how good George was at the FM Tribute. His voice was like nothing I had ever heard before, just so, so pure, so utterly, mind-blowingly amazing to hear.

A Different Corner is definitely up there as one of my most favourite songs ever, by any artist. It's genius...he was a genius, albeit a flawed one, as so many seem to be. :?

I haven't seen it and I'm not even sure I can watch it unless it's on youtube. You are right about him, though. And A Different Corner is killer. Really. It has a special meaning for me as well as it happened to be playing in my car when something life-changing, happened to me. Every time I hear it, now, I remember as though I was still there and it was happening all over, again. And it wasn't good. But George was. He, his voice and that song were what got me through something devastating.
Yeah, I'm lost in the night
The icy wind is howling out your name
The moon has gone behind the cloud again
And I can't stand to live another day
'Cause my bluebird went away
