I haven't seen it and I'm not even sure I can watch it unless it's on youtube. You are right about him, though. And A Different Corner is killer. Really. It has a special meaning for me as well as it happened to be playing in my car when something life-changing, happened to me. Every time I hear it, now, I remember as though I was still there and it was happening all over, again. And it wasn't good. But George was. He, his voice and that song were what got me through something devastating.
