Well, I can't remember waiting for the next album from a band since, well since Queen!

They are fucking awesome!

I was put onto these by a friend who knows them (they come from my hometown of Worthing). They were on Jools Holland's show the next week and he said I should make a point of seeing them.

I've now seen them live twice (and there was a big improvement in performance between the two gigs).

I'm not sure how they're going to progress, though. There's only so much they can do with drums, bass, effects and vocals before it gets boring. At some point they will have to expand their sound, but then they cease to be what's made them so good this far.

The best European band around at the minute bar none are these guys from Norway:

I like that! I would prefer the vocals to have a little more of an edge if you know what I mean, but it's ok.

True, but it's only a relatively short Panzer ride away.

england is only a 45 minutes boat trip away :-)

That didn't seem to help Mr Hitler any about 75 years ago though, did it? He had more boats than you could shake a stick at.

I was told that Belgium actually lasted longer in their last World Cup than they did in 1939/1940. Shocking that. :lookround:

Edit: It's only bloody true. 18 days in the spring of 1940, against 27 days at the World Cup in 2014.

Totally generic lead singer voice. Pass.
