Purchased The Book Of Negroes today. For sure it will be one of my next reads.
@ JLP, since you have read 12 Years A Slave, have you read The Book Of Negroes?

once in a train ride (and in Portugal, maybe a tourist or some fellow national fan of foreign literature) someone left an english version of Wuthering Heights. Worth the read?
I just know the fab song.

The Moon's A Balloon by David Niven is a brilliant read.

Other great biogs and autos I've read include:

Norman Wisdom
Sid James (Carry Ons)
Ronnie O'Sullivan
The Two Ronnies
Paul O'Grady
John le Mesurier

And several others I can't remember right now.

A heart breaking but yet a hopeful read. Many strong emotions while reading it for sure.

I've not been able to come across that yet. Its the 3rd autobiography by a musician that I'd most like to read.
( I've just noticed, I've been buying a lot of books published by Penguin lately. )

Bloody great history of that publishing house, even though it's now merely an imprint of one of the largest publishing houses of the world.

I love the history of publishing houses. Harper Collins is another one. I've won a few books from both via good reads. :D
