What the heck is Go Ask Alice? I purchased it thinking it was based on journal entries.

Currently reading I Am Ozzy, the autobiography of Ozzy Osbourne. Some interesting insights into early Sabbath and heavy metal history, and, being Ozzy, every page is either comic, tragic, or laugh-out-loud funny, and sometimes all three!

It's pretty good so far. I tried to read it earlier this year but my eyesight started failing so I had to put it down.

I'm sorry to hear that :-(
I often get severe mirgranes, one reason I can be such a slow reader at times, so another reason I find reading by a white lamp useful.

Absolutely brilliant book I've picked up, and haven't been able to put it down since it came through the door.

The Complete Beatles Recording Sessions by Mark Lewisohn

It details every recording made by The Beatles during their Abbey Road years 62-69, who did what and when, including the sessions they did outside Abbey Road during that time, such as Trident, Saville Row and Olympic.

Wish a similar type book with the same level of detail would be done on Queen.
What is left of your dream?
Just the words on your stone.
A man who learnt how to teach,
But forgot how to learn.
