And they refer to Hachette like they are another company...aren't *they* Hachette? (edit: realise now the update was posted on QOL, not on the Hachette subsite)

Italy, Japan, Poland, Spain, Germany, YES.
UK, maybe, dunno, I'll get back to you.

I've been following this since the first ones were released in Italy just waiting and hoping for a UK series.

Very disappointing and very misleading.

Is the whole thing weird? They want to get an idea of demand? Why not just see how many people sign up? (but be clear the first issue won't be until Feb 1st or something). I don't think anyone would waiting as long as they are clear with what's happening.

What's more, the website is still up and running, letting people sign up for a full subscription, which allows the companies involved to harvest our personal data including bank details. Not cool. And when I emailed them a while back to suggest they add "Queen Rocks", "Queen Forever" and "The Cosmos Rocks" to the collection, they could have said in their response it was a trial, not simply they'd look into it!

I would have appreciated some up front honesty about this - maybe a 'if you'd like to be notified if the full subscription process begins, sign up here'.

Got an update just now and it's not good news

Thanks again for subscribing to Queen The Vinyl Collection during our limited test run. We have now had time to analyse the results of the test. Unfortunately, due to the impact of COVID-19 on retail sales, these were not sufficient to proceed to a full national launch.

We apologise for the disappointment this will cause, and would like to take the opportunity to thank all the hugely enthusiastic Queen fans who have supported the test.

As mentioned in our previous email, you have not been charged as part of the test, and we are in the process of sending you a free issue. This delivery has now been processed at our warehouse, and you can expect to reveive it by the 27th November
