The concerning part for me is that they chose songs like My Baby Does Me and Rain Must Fall over that material...so how much better can some of it really be? haha
Doesn't always work like that though.

"I Go Crazy" is arguably better than some of the songs that made it onto The Works. Most of The Miracle's B-sides are almost certainly superior to several of the album tracks.

Hell, I personally rate "Let Me in Your Heart Again" as being one of the best songs from The Works, and that took 30 years to see a release.

Nah, Freddie said of My Baby Does Me, as being "a little bit more pristine". So they had a framework of about 8 songs, and then thought about what they thought would balance out the album.

I'm sure because they thought that might be their last album, the B side tracks were put out, just because they were sat there.

We also know that TMLWKY was worked on during those sessions, but was set aside because of the writing credit issues.

Of all Queen’s albums, The Game is the only one I think should’ve been a double album. It’s eclectic and “easy” to listen to in a loose kind of way. I think a double album with a mix of rock, pop, funk and disco would’ve been great at that time and removed Hot Space from existence.

And yet it's one of the shortest albums they released.

Only 1,980 of them, though.

Get them while they're hot. When they're gone, they're, err, not there anymore.

Something to be mindful of in the future given there wasn't much fanfare about this... maybe when an anniversary is coming up it's worth checking the store a couple of times a day just in case.

Late Nov'/early Dec' for Flash Gordon, anyone? I suspect given the movie has its own diehards who aren't Queen fans, a picture disc of the OST would sell out even faster for that one...

Personally, I wouldn't rule it out.
