Just after Now 8 came out, they put out a Now 86 album, that was done as a single CD too. That had AKOM on it.

I wonder whether with the reissues they've had problem licensing certain tracks? There might well be some artists unwilling to allow tracks now.
So far I believe there are about 3 songs missing. I think there should have been a Bob Marley track on one, Gary Glitter has purposely been left off and David Bowie's track with Pat Metheny, This Is Not America, is missing from the latest one.

Can't think Gary Glitter had a hit after about 1977, so I'd guess it was a Christmas album that had previously featured Another Rock And Roll Christmas

Just found a couple - Now 3 left off One Love by Bob Marley and Dance Me Up by Gary Glitter.

Thanks WeeMann very useful - you saying those names makes sense actually I never see their names on any compilation albums now.

BTW. The first compilation I ever saw a genuine Queen track on, was the soundtrack to the movie FM, which had We Will Rock You somewhere in the middle of it. Fairly sure it was the very first, in the UK anyway.
I was actually going to ask that in the pop quiz thread

Talking of which, got given a fantastic bit of Queen trivia today. Well, we'll see how good it is in time.

Now 6 is coming on CD on 24 July. The only track that didn't make the cut is It's Only Love by Tina Turner and Bryan Adams.

I've been looking forward to this one. I had this on vinyl and wore out side one as this was when I got into Queen and for a while the only track I had was One Vision on Now 6.

They couldn't get the rights.

If you go on their Facebook page there's a thread where the question was asked and someone from the company mentioned it.
