Checked the site, no hint as to that, there is a mention only of a Queen extravaganza band, which the winners join.

"The highly anticipated Live Final, held in Los Angeles, will be judged by the official Queen Extravaganza panel, fronted by Roger Taylor. The 10 final contestants, and possible 'wild-cards', will perform LIVE as part of the band in front of Roger and the panel"

for fucks sake..sell out time..they haven't a fucking clue...maybe roger can give the winner a tattoo...utter queen bollocks...This is the sort of kak that will wreck a bands credibility..

Hate to say it, but whoever said "None of the greats do this kind of thing" above was right. Making appearances on X factor, setting up reality show nonsense like this, appearing on Boyband records.. I mean really. Hardly the stuff of Legend, is it? Mr Taylor is a little too desperate to stay in the limelight at times methinks. May is too of course but at least it looks like he's steered clear of this one.

It was looking great for Roger a year or two ago. Talk of touring, re-issuing his solo albums, boxsets - he's now helping put together a Queen tribute band to tour the USA? WTF? This is just sad. Why do Brian and Roger get involved with shit like this, yet don't release their own music? Are they both just uninspired and artistically redundant?
