I started thinking it was shit. But some time after that, it seems that they really did their homework and they started to sound pretty good.

Good for them! I'd definitely go to see them.

Marc has a very similar voice to Freddie but not the range nor the charismatic stage presence. Still, I enjoyed him and the others in the Queenextravaganza when I saw them in Ohio last summer.

You can see Marc getting more and more comfortable. No one has the stage presence of Freddie...so it's not really fair to judge him against that. But if you judge where Marc is now versus where he was when this project first started, he's come a long way. It's all about progress...and this group just keeps getting better.

PS. "Another One Bites the Dust" was great...but I think he really nailed "I Want to Break Free" as well. Thats the song that really stood out to me.

:agreepost:

They work so well with each other! This group clicked from the get go. Something Queen was noted for-a tight performance.

They're all amazingly gifted musicians on their own. Tyler's a regular musical genius on any instrument.

Reminds me of Todd Rundgren who could be his own one man band.

My vids from last night's show in Quebec. This is the 4th time I've seen the QE, and not that they weren't good last year, but they are SO much better now. Best QE show I've seen yet! :onfire:

I Want It All -- with QE's guitarist Brian Gresh singing the bridge like Brian May did!

Has the setlist changed in any way? That was my only criticism. I was hoping for a bit more diversity as they gelled more. I don't expect a different setlist completely. But add a few, drop a few.....I loved the first time I saw them. I highly enjoyed the second time a year later but really they just dropped some of the set but didn't add anything which was a bit disappointing.

All in all a good show still!

Nothing net new, but I Want It All and Tie Your Mother Down are re-adds after being dropped at the start of the 2013 tour (when the band went from 9 to 6 members).

They're so bloody good, but they should really get rid of the girl :D
