Nothing about Brian getting sick right after the concert? He only posted a snipped of just getting sick after the concert, and no details. His fb page parroted the twitter with no explanation, and just that he'd be resting up for the upcoming concert.

Any one read anything else?

I read something (somewhere...) that he was affected by the Singapore heat. I know each time I've been in Singapore as a stopover either to or from Australia, that at this time of year, it's hot and humid there (with humidity being the main cause of being uncomfortable). Being up on stage with the lights and pyros going off would only add to the heat.

Fingers crossed he's okay soon (and not just selfishly because I'm heading to Thailand in 11 days' time to see them!).

agkelly wrote:It might just be me, but 'Seven Seas Of Rhye' doesn't do it for me as an opener. I LOVED 2012's 'Flash' / 'The Hero' curtain-raising opener, and almost as much, 2014's 'Procession' / Now I'm Here' opener.

Even the YouTube clips of the shows opening with 'One Vision' don't do it for me so much. They're perfect for the Magic Tour's shows 30yrs ago as there's no big entrance like there is these days with the curtain and lights, ect.

No, it's not only you. I LOVED 2012's opening as well. Maybe because I was there at Hammersmith Appolo ;)
"One Vision" was great as well because it was following that mysterious track 13 - creating all the "drama".

As was I! The Wednesday and Thursday gigs (but was sadly on a plane home to Australia while they were on stage on the Saturday night gig).

I was also at all six of the Aussie 2014 gigs, so can compare the live experience for at least those two openers. I've only seen YouTube clips of the recent 'One Vision' and 'Seven Seas Of Rhye' openers, so although awesome if you're there, they just don't seem to be as great an opener as the other ones I've already mentioned.

2012 show was just all special - intimate venue and prolonged middle accoustic part. Do you remember Brian's singing 'TSMGO'? And "speaking" Russian?

Anyway, have great time in Thailand! Don't forget to tell us about your on stage with Queen experience.

"Nostrovia!" (spelling is probably well off here..!)

Agreed regarding the 2012 gigs. They seemed to have everything, including the full 'Love Of My Life', yet weren't any longer than the 2014 gigs, which (at least in Australia) only had shortened version of that song. I was sad to see '39' missing from the Tel Aviv concert I watched online last weekend.

I've no doubt I'll be enjoying myself next Friday! Thanks AngelR!

"Nostrovia!" - That's right!
You are very lucky that Friday's show is the last show of the tour - always the best!
