Summer Sonic 2014 getting an official release in Japan

The super deluxe boxset is pretty pricey...

Even the Blu Ray of its own comes out at £58 for me. I know the pound has taken a bit of a hammering lately but that's one expensive Blu Ray

It's a shame the website you go to pre-order is all in Japanese and there's seemingly no option to convert to English!
I just had a look for curiosity's sake, although I know I'm pretty keen to get a version of this release.

Is the Blu-ray region locked for Japan or is it region free? NTSC/PAL doesn't figure into HD so that is a non issue.

As a fallback is the DVD region locked? If not Japan uses NTSC so that would be a (lesser) option if the Blu-ray isn't playable on us players.

Regardless of price, in the 25 years I have been a fan, this is the first Queen product with "new" content that I won't buy. Weird feeling

Yes, very pricey ! I did manage to translate the important bits with chrome translate.

I ordered just the DVD. I don't do bags and Tee shirts.
My player is multi-zone so that's not an issue.
It will be my Xmas gift to myself.

Plus is this the full show on DVD and BD while the cd is just a "highlights" cd ala that Queen+ Paul Rodgers Japanese only release or what? We need the full tracklisting.

When I ordered ,there was a drop down list of countries to choose from. So I would assume that means international shipping.
I also received a confirmation e-mail.

Very expensive! I doubt anything would be left by November 1-3 when I get paid, next. <sigh>
Cause you are beautiful
Your scars are beautiful, like the Jade
You'll still shine when you sink into the sea
Where the bleeding scarlet jealousy
Carves away your belief

Having seen Queen +Adam Lambert I was hoping and looking forward to a release of a live concert. Now that it's happening I'm perplexed as to why it's only being released officially in Japan? Why? And as a result the price of this release is astronomical. I googled a yen to pound sterling calculator for the BLURAY and CD package and it amounted to over . £70. I'm sorry but I don't care how much I'd like a product,i wont pay £70 for a CD and Bluray. Extortionate!!

Where did you order it from? The press release's link was to an all japanese language site where I obviously couldn't make heads or tails of it.

I posted the translated link above
http://wardrecords.com/QueenLiveInJapan/
Ignore the beginning and scroll down until you find English (sort of)

I used chrome and did an auto translate. I found what I wanted and it told me it was in my "cart". From there it seemed to be a normal on-line purchase
