Did you have any doubt? I'd love to see them at least one more time before they "retire" - maybe Wembley, who knows. Brian said (a couple of month ago) they're planning to do something different with Adam???

Honestly...I did have doubts because AL is so busy.
Wembley, wonder if they could sell that out?

If they come to the US, they will also come to Canada. Last time they played two nights in Toronto!

I know, plus two shows in Alberta, that I missed out on. Eekk, so many questions! Bigger, longer tour?

I'd bet not. I'd bet a shorter tour. I think they want to tour in short bursts now. It's better for the elderly rockers and gives Adam more time to do solo stuff. Brian did say something about wanting to do it in a new and different way recently....

I hear a north american (probably including Canada) tour in about 11 or 12 months is happening. Someone I've spoken to recently had been talking to their roadies in Asia post-gig and they let it slip.

I agree that it would be in shorter segments. This last tour in Asia was 9 shows!

I've been thinking about that 'something new'. What I have come up with, maybe concerts in areas they haven't played before? Time will tell, and I could be wrong :P

I've been wondering too. It will probably end up being nothing too significant. I think it's fair to say the format probably needs freshened up a bit. They've been pretty much doing greatest hits sets for almost 12 years now.

I'd love to see them doing intimate acoustic sets but can't really imagine them realistically playing venues small enough for it to work in. I've always dreamed of Brian and Roger doing something like this and them sharing lead vocals duties but obviously a QAL tour would involved AL.

^ I wish. But I highly doubt it. Quite frankly Brian (and Roger goes along with him) are simply too comfortable playing the hits. They don't seem to want to challenge themselves. They've earned the right to do what they want honestly so whatever makes them happy but I do wish they could branch out a bit more. And this isn't just QAL. There are quite a few stories that QPR stopped because Paul wanted to branch out some more but Brian was too comfortable playing the hits. The stories (and yes these are rumors so who know for sure) also suggested that Roger was far more open to trying different material -- then again he's been doing either AKOM or Days of Our LIves for 5 years now too - Maybe try bringing back I'm In Love With My Car or get more exciting - Tenement Funster, Heaven For Everyone, Invisible Man, Drowse. Something new....

2017 - 40th anniversary of News of the World....Playing the complete album? That would be awesome. But I doubt it.

The other thing that may interest me is if they were able to tour with another artist in a dual setting like Elton John/Billy Joel. Each has a set but there is some crossover as well. That would qualify as something different. QAL/Elton or QAL/Foos

I wish for that as well, right up there on my Queen wish list.
I do hope for more adds to the set list there's a wealth of material I think Brian and Roger overlook for some reason/s.
And it's a shame.
Then again, I'd rather hear lesser known Queen tracks than perform a whole album. That might be must me.
Brian has sure got my interest about the something new, but please no Freddie hologram
