I woke up in the middle of the night last night with this in mind and think it really could work. I had the thought that the 'something different' tour next year could possibly be Queen + Adam Lambert + a symphony orchestra on stage with them.

Anyone here remember in about 1999 or 2000 there was something that toured the world called 'The Ultimate Rock Symphony'? It was Alice Cooper, Paul Rodgers, Roger Daltry, Gary Brooker (Procal Harum), and probably others that I've now forgotten, touring together doing their songs and songs of, say, The Rolling Stones, Queen, beatles, Led Zepplin, ect, with a rock band and backed by a symphony orchestra. I saw it in Australia, and although I was only about 19, I remember it sounding amazing. They, unfortunately, didn't play any Queen songs in the concert I went to (despite being advertised as such!), but it was a great gig.

I think Metallica have also done something like this in the last decade or so?

Queen plus an orchestra live would be such a wonderful experience live, I would think.

So yeah, that was my middle-of-the-night random thought, so I thought I'd share it with everyone here. This way, also, should it be the case, you can all know you read it here first!

Oh, yeah! I've said this for years now but get shot down for it! I do think a new studio l.p. should be done first though...

I would love for that to be the case too, however I was only moving with the topic at hand and the Brian May quote that said they might be touring next year, but it will be something different (I don't have the original quote at hand though ... but you get the gist!).

Hi! I'm wondering if you had a chance to watch Adam when he was a judge on X Factor Australia recently. He might be singing a duet with a finalist on X Factor UK next weekend!

G'day CNB
I only saw glimpses of the show. To be honest, I hate shows like that and only watched last year's Aussie series because my mate was in it (came 3rd or 4th). I have know the panellists this series were Guy Sebastian (an Aussie singer who was a product of Australian Idol I think it was several years ago), Adam Lambert, Iggy Azaelia (sp?), and Mel B (I think? One of the Spice Girls anyway!), but I never heard who won it at all. In fact, apart from the start of the series when there were ads on tv promoting it, and I did see Adam Lambert talking it up on some morning programme (I believe he talked briefly about being in Queen+ too), I never heard any more about it.

So to answer your question, no, I didn't really watch it!
