General sale starts at 10AM on the 10th. If you get on right at 10AM on the 10th you should get great tickets. I checked several dates an hour after they went on sale last week and could still get good floor seats without having to buy the VIP tickets.

People here said they got better tickets using the general sale instead of the pre-sale.

Damn! I just checked the AZ show and that one isn't selling all that great. I can still get two seats together in the middle of the floor. A lot seats on the sides and seats in the upper level haven't sold yet. Did they play AZ last time?

Did they change some of the ticket prices?

I thought Vancouver had 49.95 price point and a 69.95 price point and now the 69.95 has been replaced with 80.

Apparently they haven't checked Ticketmaster lately. These shows are not selling like they did last time. That Barclay show they are talking about still has a good bit of seats on Ticketmaster that are not resale tickets. Why pay $126 when you can sit in the row behind that one for $69.50? Or $241 when you can sit just a few rows back for $175? I hate scalpers and I'm glad they are going to take a hit on these shows.

Still 5 months to go. Sales look OK to me: these are big arenas (21,000 at the Barclay Centre in New York as against 20,000 at Madison Square Gardens) and the better seats are mostly gone. I bet they'll sell out most venues.

Agree with you that it's slower than last time (inevitable with no new music promised) and on the hate for scalpers.

Check out some of the other shows in the US like AZ and NE. Those aren't selling well at all and by now we all know that first week sales usually determine how well a show will sell.

I'm surprised Chicago isn't selling better.

I am not sure where you are looking Milkman! I checked a few of the concert venues and there is not much left other than seats that are way up high. I am going to Mohegan and very little there. Hollywood Bowl close to sold out as are some of the bigger venues. Arizona is one where there are more seats available, but it is so hot down there, maybe not a great draw. Some of the Adam sites have actual venue charts up and it is selling extremely well. Sorry to bust your bubble as I am sure you would be quite happy if it didn't turn out well. But off to a really good start and the tour is months away. Lots of sell outs to be sure!!

A few of them are selling but some aren't. They are definitely not selling like last time and all the blue seats on Ticketmaster make that obvious. Spin it anyway you want but if anyone wants to know the truth they can look at Ticketmaster.

If people are smart they will wait to the week of the shows and buy them from the secondary sites when they have to take a hit on them.

And I bet most of the US shows sell between 70-80 percent. Not saying that to offend anyone but that is how I feel looking at the sales so far.

BTW Your show is in a much smaller venue.

You can still get floor seats in Dallas and most of the upper level hasn't sold.

Some of the venues are on Ticketmasters's partner sites and you can't see how many seats are available, but I can still get floor seats in section 4 for the Wells Fargo Center in PA.

I was surprised they didn't wait till after the film is released to tour the US again, and I still think they will. The tour is selling slower in some places than last time, but it is nearly twice as large, so it's not that surprising. It's definitely the case that there will be bargains to be had at many shows which wasn't the case last time, but overall they're going to make more money this tour and I don't expect the profits per show to be all that different than last time.

Maybe they have been waiting to tour after the film but after 10 years (or whatever) of waiting they thought they might be waiting forever.

Especially with all those VIP seats already sold.
