It will be interesting to see what set list this brand new designed show will incorporate and also if a new lighting rig will be used...

Saw Q+AL in Houston in July 2014 - thought that would be the last chance I would ever have to see Brian and Roger again but I guess not. I'll probably hit either the Houston or Dallas show this time but don't have anywhere near the enthusiasm as I did in 2006 when I saw QPR in San Diego (great show) or QAL in 2014 - hope they change up the set list considerably. Guessing this tour is being done to generate interest in the forthcoming Freddie Mercury movie?????

Was lucky enough to have seen Queen 2 times in 1978 in New Orleans and Oakland and two times in 1980 in Essen and Frankfurt, Germany and once in 1982, Frankfurt again!!!!!!!

Brian May will turn 70 midway through this tour. It's not really my cup of tea but I'm glad the band is still going even in this form, after so long. Hope everyone who goes has a good old time.

Wonder if that's it for the UK?

I'm interested to see what the big difference will be between this tour/setlist/stage setup compared to the ones in recent years.

I'd add to the chorus of people online saying "Come to Australia (or wherever people are living)", but it won't make the slightest difference. But I would love for them to come back here again! I was overseas for 3 months last year, and the remaining money I had was spent on an overnight trip to their Bangkok gig. I don't have the money or much time to go see them on the other side of the planet!

Encouraged bt the fact that the 'hits' mentioned in the press release are all pre-1981 stuff. If they tour the first 10 years of Queen stuff, then I'm in. A concert without Gaga, AKOM etc would be great. But how daring would they be when they've got tickets to sell?

Considering Queen is / was a UK based band I would sincerely hope not.

They do appear to favour non-UK tours though with this Q+AL set up seeing as though apart from those 3 Hammersmith shows in the early days and IoW last year they have only done one brief UK tour in early 2015.

I suppose they have also only done other territories once, i.e. South America, Japan (apart from the festivals tour last year) and they did start last time in North America so maybe its just a case of repeating the same again doing all territories again over a 2 year period with this new show.

Also on the positive side it must mean that Brian is well again if he is willing to take on another grueling big NA tour at 70 years old. Hopefully he'll find time to re-schedule that short UK solo tour with Kerry Ellis before Q+AL hit the road again.

K.C. Mo., about 200 miles away. I doubt we can afford it, though my friend has just gotten his disability with a small settlement, and he has NEVER seen Queen live, so...I dunno. This may be awfully tempting for him.

There is enough time to plan everything and book in advance so you could spread the cost. :)

There might be more dates added later - always happens with every tour annoncement.

Maybe but they didn't add Atlanta last time.
