Thank you!
I've noticed they've moved 3 places up on the top 20 Global Concert Tours chart from Pollstar.

Not having a go, I promise. I'm not all that surprised, as it was so close to Christmas with the expense and traveling done by so many at the time. That's how I'm looking at it.

It was sold out on all official ticketsites until about 2 days before the gigs. Then seemingly a lot of last minute tickets were available ( it was also posted in this forum), for instance on the „Amex“-site, not on Ticketmaster! When you look at the billboard-boxscore - from where these numbers seem to be- it shows, that it happened to every artist in the O2-Arena. Nobody sold it out, all have a rather similar amount of tickets left. I don’t get, why that happens :?: At least it seems to be a problem at the arena...
https://www.billboard.com/biz/current-boxscore

By the way: the Billboard-boxscore list seems to be just an outtake. It only shows concerts, that where reported last week (at least that’s how I understand it.)

Those shows (as well as all UK shows) were officially sold out in one hour last spring, well before Christmas. There was no promotion whatsoever afterwards (there was hardly any promotion anyway) and there was no tickets available for months, just resellers.
Every UK arena had some extra tickets released just one day before the shows for whatever reason???? - so many fans missed out. I helped some Scandinavian fans from Twitter to get last minutes tickets, they couldn't believe their luck as the resellers prices were very high. Of course I kept sharing information about extra tickets here as well :)

I’m a little confused about the O2 arena not being sold out. This link says the O2 arena capacity is 20,000:

The capacity depends on the used stage. Maximum is 20.000. But depending on where you put the stage and how big it is or if you use a catwalk it gets lower. That’s why the capacity is different for different acts in the same venue. And I guess that’s also a reason for tickets released last minute. When the stage is built and checked, the venue can exactly tell, how many people are allowed inside the venue. Before it’s a calculation. And it seems that the people in charge at the O2 are very cautious and prefer to release tickets last minute.

Looks about right. 8 months touring, $80 million gross. Not bad. (It would be interesting to know what the net profit is. I'm guessing enough that thesemulti=millionaires all think it's worth it, aside from the obvious pleasure they all get from it.)

Thanks for this: makes a lot of sense, particularly given that it wasn't a "straight lines" stage where the capacity calculations would be more obvious.

Just added the Boxscore for the 25th July Boston Show on page1. We now have the details for 23 of the 26 North American shows. Unfortunately very little information has been published for the European/UK shows.
