Brian wrote, that the production rehearsals start tomorrow in Auckland. Would that be Wednesday or Thursday? :?:
Last round they only rehearsed one day. Maybe they will change it up at least a little bit this time? Still hoping!

Doubt they would change it up even a little.

I actually don’t have much hope as well. But why would they rehearse 3 (or 2) days, when they already did that show more than 50 times? Unless they have something else planned in between.

Brian went to see Robbie Williams in the arena in Auckland, where QAL will play in 3 days. He posted a lot of praise for Robbie: „a better entertainer you‘ll never see.“ Now reading the comments by Freddie-fans and Glamberts is entertaining as well...

"We will never see a better entertainer than Rob."

Most die hard Queen fans know that Brian is full of shit and he says stuff like this all the time. He's Mr. Hyperbole!

I went to Canada to see Q+AL play in Vancouver and Edmonton in early July last year. This was just before they dropped 'It's Late' and 'Spread Your Wings' from the setlist. Those songs were AWESOME live, and like many others who either saw them being played live or who watching them on YouTube, I was pretty much gobsmacked when I heard they'd been dropped for seemingly no obvious reason. I figured they'd re-add them when they got to Europe. They didn't.

Now that they've had, what, 2 months off, I was hoping they'd re-add them for the Australian-NZ leg of the tour, but also realistically didn't believe they would (I mean, why only for us Aussies and kiwis?!). Then they started announcing 2018 European dates (and continue to do so still), and while still severely doubting they will, I am again hoping those two songs in particular make a re-appearance ... especially if they're spending an extra day or two rehearsing before the tour officially kicks off.

I can live in hope!
I may have to just live in the memory of those two Canadian gigs though ... but I am giving myself the best chance of seeing it if it happens as I'm going (again, just like 2014!) to all eight Aussie-leg gigs.
And I can't wait! Woooooo!!

I wouldn’t call it shit. Brian likes to say nice things, when he enjoys something. To others it might sound exaggerated, but I thinks he mostly tells, how he feels about it. To me it’s Brian being Brian. :)
And this last post made Freddie’s and Adam’s fans “unite“ in reminding him, that he must be wrong.
In the end I would add, that Robbie really is one of the greatest entertainers ever. It’s what his shows are about... singing not so much. ;)

Well it is Brian being Brian. That's one of the most annoying things about him IMHO. Maybe he's just a tad bit senile or a little jealous of Freddie. We all know that Robbie on his best day couldn't come close to Freddie's Live Aid performance. So many big name acts on those two stages that day and Freddie was the brightest star.

I like Robbie a lot but I wouldn't say he's the best or one of the greatest at anything. Well, maybe best body in a video from a former UK boy band member. I also like Robbie's voice but it's nothing special. It fits the type of music he sings so there is nothing wrong with it.

Oh, ffs. Robbie is a cheap cabaret performer with a very mediocre voice at best. He should have just joined Kiss.
