I think answers your question Jimi, direct from the official press release
Queen + Adam Lambert’s appearance at TRNSMT is the only show the band are to perform in the UK this summer outside of their three earlier sold-out London concerts.

What's the gold circle? Doesn't seem to be any info on it unless I'm being dumb.

It's the area closest to the stage. For this you need to pay a premium (£80 + booking fee against £65 + booking fee) but you can go in and out the area as much as you like and not be too far back from the stage when you return.

For the relatively small increase in price, given the full support act being good in my opinion, I thought it was a no brainer.

Hope that helps!

There is a VIP ticket too at an even greater premium, but not too sure on that one!

Congratulations! :)
Although I've got the tickets to see them at the O2....wish I could go to Scotland as well: more fun for the same money! Love the Darkness, hopefully they will perform together!

The full line-up was a big sway in getting the Gold Circle - seen The Darkness a few times and enjoyed, and heard good things about the Temperance Movement too. And of course not seeing Adam Lambert with Queen before (last time was with Paul Rodgers in '08) was the main reason!

A long interview with Adam about the upcoming gig in Glasgow and his work with Queen:

If it helps anyone, Itison Glasgow are doing half price tickets for the show.

https://www.itison.com/Glasgow/deals/tr ... ness-more/

Looks like it’s for General Circle only, not Gold.

Glad they’ve not done the same for Gold Circle after paying full price!!

“Now I’m at a point where it’s second nature, it’s so fun. It means getting onstage doesn’t have to be an exercise in thinking or trying too hard to craft it. It just comes out, which is the way it should be. It’s very natural. I think the audience feel that too."

This is exactly the point I made elsewhere about Adam now coming across as more natural. It is very apparent that he is far more comfortable in his role now and that those wonderful songs have become a part of him. If he could just drop the lame jokes and the Freddie speech now I think QAL would be almost perfect.

And I just have to add that his vocals seem to be getting better and better; this has to do with the fact that he is more comfortable now and is singing these songs more naturally than he has ever done up to this point. The gigs seem to be moving more towards the spirit of rock 'n' roll as opposed to some overly scripted cabaret show. It's just a shame that they are now finally getting to a point where things are far more natural but probably won't be doing too many of these tours much longer (this could even be the last one - finishing in Vegas). Fingers crossed that they reign for a few more years.

From what I understand, I'm more optimistic about the future now...I think they have so much fun and will continue as long as possible. I don't think the Vegas ones will be their last.
And about Adam Lambert...that guy sings his ass off at these concerts!! I saw them 2-3 weeks ago in Berlin again and damn, can that guy sing! He might not have my favourite voice (still a very good one), but he takes it to the highest level possible, that's for sure! ;-)
