Queen+Adam Lambert acoustic concert [poll]

Postby KNIGHT » Sat Mar 10, 2018 11:48 pm

I have been listening Brian May+Kerry Ellis acoustic concerts.

What do you think about if Queen+Adam Lambert did something like that. Some acoustic concerts performing Queen songs.

What do you think that could be the setlist.

Too Much Love Will Kill You
A Kind Of Magic
It’s A Hard Life
Innuendo
Love of My Life
Is This The World We Created
Save Me
Good Company
Fat Bottomed Girls
These Are The Days Of Our Lives
Bohemian Rhapsody
We Will Rock You
We Are The Champions
God Save The Queen

Yes, tompretty much all of it, except for Innuendo. I'd like to see Roger sing HFE too.

Or how I'll be saved
I'm no coward
But I'm not that brave

Rain's getting near
I'm done with running
And it's getting dark in here~

Maybe an acoustic performance of WWTLF but with strings/orchestra.

Would it save you a lot of time if I just gave up and went mad now?

What exactly is the question? If I want a whole acoustic concert?
If that's the question, I don't want it. It's great for Brian and Kerry. But I don't think, that would bring the "Queen-feeling" to me. A few songs (like they already did during the tour 2016) are fine.

I would love to watch TV series made for Sky Arts or BBC: the set list selected by era or album? not only with Adam but with other guest singers as well!

Any such acoustic gig (and it will never happen) could be pulled off by Brian and Roger on vocals on their own, as they could adapt the songs accordingly. Like Brian did for the brilliant VH1 Another World programme.

Isn't that kind of the point? That it's something different?

Whatever happened to those MTV Unplugged shows? Would love for our boys to have made an appearance on that.

They still have the MTV Unplugged series. a-ha just did one in February. It's not as popular as it was but it's still around in several countries.

They can just do one show....That would be nice. It doesn't necessary have to be an entire tour.
