Must be lots of fans of QAL who can't wait to see them again. I got tickets yesterday for Boston and I hit my button at 10:00 and there were 2000 in the line ahead of me. This tour will be sold out in a New York minute. These guys are actually appreciated by millions across the world contrary to what many Queen fans think. I for one can't wait to see them again!!

^ Same, I was perched and ready to buy tickets at 9:59 AM yesterday and there were 1600 people in front of me in the imaginary internet queue.

The prices and buying process of tickets in this country are fucking ridiculous. It is becoming impossible for normal fans to be able to get anywhere near the stage without shelling out hundreds or thousands of dollars for a 'VIP package'. $2000+ dollars??? It's Ticketmaster/Live Nation to blame I'm sure, but it would be nice to see more big name artists speak out against this ridiculous shit.

So its a long weekend in Florida for me and the family to see Q+AL at Ft Lauderdale and Tampa... after travelling to the US for the 2014 and 2016 tours, I really didn't dream we'd get to see Brian and Roger in such amazing surroundings yet again!

A lots of fans want to hear Queen songs in live and see Brian and Roger again. I attended 4 QPR concerts and 2 QAL concerts. In case of QAL, I spent a lot of money for travelling as they did not visit my country. Adam was also at the QAL concerts by I did not bother too much with him. ;)

Got my tickets for Boston and I am so excited to see the new show! Hopefully they will give us a few surprises setlist wise, not counting much on it though :(

zso: That is all right that you are there for Brian and Roger, I am there more for Adam :) we all have our favorites but we all love the music of Queen live. Glad you gave the show a chance :)

dave4343palace: I have to say I admire your dedication! I wish I could go to more than one show this time around but alas. Enjoy

snifflese: it seems we are going to the same show! You got seats in which section?

Finally shows in the Southeast. Haven't seen them since MSG in 2014. Ticket sales were brisk this time, looking forward to it. Hope there are no hurricanes.

I was at the MSG show in 2014 as well. It was my first Queen concert. :)

Anyway, I bought myself tickets to see them in Philly and MSG. I'll be going to the one in Philly with two of my friends, and to MSG with my wife. I can't wait!

But I really hope they change the set list up a bit. At least give us different hits. For example, I'd like These Are The Days Of Our Lives to make a return (w/ Roger on vocals). It'd also be nice if they did some Freddie solo work. A personal favorite was hearing Roger and Brian sing I Was Born To Love You together. So for that to make a return would just about blow me away.

Certain things from the Vegas tour SHOULD return though. We Will Rock You (fast) was AMAZING. Though they should do all three verses this time. ;)
2014 - Queen + Adam Lambert (MSG in NYC)
2014 - Queen + Adam Lambert (Washington D.C.)
2017 - Queen + Adam Lambert (Brooklyn, NYC)
2017 - Queen + Adam Lambert (Philadelphia)
2018 - Queen + Adam Lambert (Las Vegas) 2X

Here is a spreadsheet for the upcoming US tour. About half a year before the first concert, most of them are close to being sold out. Some venues opened sections, that are on the sides with only a restricted view.
I think, this is phenomenal! Has Queen ever been this successful in the US before?

So, according to his own Instagram Story Roger is plotting for 2019. Is it for the tour or is he planning more?
And yes, I find it cute, that Roger is watching Adam and posting about it. :)
Hint: Everything about the Cher tribute can be found in the Adam Lambert thread of the forum.

That's a good queation!

Maybe during The Game Tour in 1980?

Also, it must be noted that tickets are markedly more expensive now(even accounting/adjusting for inflation) then they were in 1980.

Soooo how many more times are they going to do this without at least a live l.p. and companion "music home video"? There should be one with three new studio recordings on it. Something seems off with the "Live In Japan" release with the audio c.d. only being one disc and the set having a generic title on it. I guess that they are an oldies act.
