I don't get it either...a Blu-ray of the last tour would be a good way to promote any future concerts. Many people who watched the movie don't know QAL or at least haven't seen them, and the only thing released since the movie (besides the soundtrack) was Brian's and Roger's singles...but nothing else. I thought they'd use that chance when the movie is a big success and release something new Queen-related...hope they'll do so this year before the Rhapsody Tour starts.

Has anyone heard whispers yet of UK/Europe legs later in 2019 yet? If they are going to, I'd guess that maybe the announcement will come at the same time as the Blu Ray of the movie coming out to gain maximum publicity.

A recent change of circumstances means that I should be in Dallas at the time of the show there - what are people’s thoughts about getting tickets at this stage? Were all tickets released or might some have been held back?

Had I known I’d be in Dallas at the time then I’d have bought during the pre-sale, but I guess something like Stubhub would be my only option now - is it better to grab tickets on there now, or do Stubhub prices generally drop closer to the date?

Any advice on how I should play it would be appreciated 8-)

There are always more tickets released closer to the show. Don't overpay now, unless you can find the 'right' ticket. The best place to find a good ticket might be Twickets. It's been officially endorced by Queen + AL since their last tour. You can download their app and follow the Queen + AL Dallas show.

Thanks for all that.

I’ve now registered with Twickets and set-up the alert. Dallas isn’t up there yet as far as I can see, but i’ve set the parameters for it.

Should I check Ticketmaster occasionally for newly released tickets, or will my QAL alert on there react to new releases?

Adam is in London and working with Roger and possibly Brian.
Roger and Adam both posted this picture in their Instagram stories with the caption:
„Tour creation time!“
The picture shows the frontage of the script of the upcoming tour concept. So it will be a completely new tour!
Now, can they show us the interesting parts of that script?

Between: Happy Birthday, Adam!!!! They must be celebrating a bit as well, it’s his 37th birthday today.

Completely new, eh? New stage, of course. But it'll probably be a full-fledged greatest hits concert, similar to the Vegas shows. Especially considering all of the newer fans flocking the scene now.

Would be nice to see them incorporate more of Freddie into the show...more moments like Love of My Life and "Ay-oh."

Hey, stay positive!
It will all look different. :) Just think about how fascinating that last tour was! (When you saw it for the first time.)

With the last change of the stage came a comparable big change of the setlist. OK, big in QAL speech is only about 25-30%. So yes, it will be a set based on their biggest hits.
But I don’t think, they will forget their longtime fans. Last tour they started with this setlist:

Tour 2017/18
Phoenix: June 23rd, 2017 (copied from that thread/ comments are from another poster)
The colored songs were only played in these tours (I excluded the very short tour 2012).

1.WWRY (normal version, abbreviated)
2. Hammer to Fall
3. Stone Cold Crazy
4. Another One Bites the Dust
5. Fat Bottomed Girls
6. Killer Queen (Adam sits on the robot's head!! -- good riddance to the couch!)
7. TwoFux
(new AL solo work)
8. Don't Stop Me Now
9. Bicycle Race (with onstage bike)
10. I'm in Love with My Car with Roger on lead (!!!!!)
11. Get Down Make Love (!!!!!)
12. I Want It All
13. Love of My Life
14. Somebody to Love (slow 1st verse into normal orchestration/Bri+Rog+Adam center stage)
15. Crazy Little Thing Called Love (Bri+Rog+Adam center stage)
16. Drum Battle
17. Under Pressure (Bri+Rog+Adam center stage)
18. You Take My Breath Away opening (Freddie's vocal from studio version) -> leads into
19. Who wants to live forever (Adam descends into the floor)
20. Guitar Solo/Last Horizon (with the robot 'carrying' Brian!!)
21. Vocal improv with Freddie [Wembley 12 July 1986](!!!!!)
22. It's Late (!!!!!)
23. Radio Ga Ga
24. Bohemian Rhapsody (studio opening on tape and Adam on lead in *both* opening verses)

Encore:
25. Spread Your Wings [w/ hints of the BBC fast ending] (!!!!!)
26. We Are the Champions
27. God Save the Queen (tape)

Tour 2014-16
And this was in comparison the setlist from the start of their first tour 2014 (Chicago, June, 19th) :

1. Now I’m Here
2. Stone Cold Crazy
3. Another One Bites The Dust
4. Fat Bottom Girls
5. Lap Of The Gods
6. Seven Seas Of Rhye
7. Killer Queen
8. Somebody To Love
9. I Want It All
10. Love Of My Life
11.’39 - Brian
12. Days Of Our Lives - Roger
13. Under Pressure
14. Love Kills
15. Who Wants To Live Forever
16. Guitar Solo
17. Tie Your Mother Down
18. Radio Gaga
19. Crazy Little Thing Called Love
20. The Show Must Go On
21. Bo Rhap
Encore
22. We Will Rock You
23. We Are The Champions
24. God Save The Queen

Of course the setlist changed during the different legs on these tours.
They also performed
A Kind of Magic, Flash, The Hero , One Vision, Play the Game, Dragon Attack, Save me, Tear it up, Keep yourself alive, I was born to love you, Teo Torriatte and Adam’s songs Ghost Town, Whataya want from me and Lucy.Maybe I forgot some.

At the moment I‘m looking forward to at least a few additions and comebacks.

On Adam‘s Spotify list is also „Sheer Heart Attack“. This list has been a good indication for the upcoming setlist in the past. In 2017 he had added It‘s late, Spread your wings, Get down make Love and Bicycle Race before that.
Sheer Heart Attack must have been on their list, but was never performed.

I saw them 6 times since 2015:
- 2 with the „ Q-stage“ (Berlin 2015 / Cologne 2016)
- 4 with the „Red Special Stage“: 3 of these were 2017 and more or less the same (as expected.Prague/Munich back to back and Wembley 6 weeks later.)
The last one was in comparison pretty different from these three (Berlin 2018), with a change of about 5 songs)

My experience is, that the shows vary at least a bit, when you attend different legs of a tour. And the chances of the best setlist are at the start of a tour, when they are experimenting with new additions (It’s Late, Spread Your Wings“). I still think, the US was very lucky to get these songs. At least in the beginning.

So true. In my case, by the time I saw Queen on their last North American tour (not including Vegas) they had already dropped It's Late and Spread Your Wings. I was absolutely gutted! Still a great tour. I particularly loved hearing Get Down Make Love. :)

Get Down, Make Love was for sure interesting to hear AND watch. In the end, I was OK with them dropping it for Europe 2018 though. 3 times was enough.

To my surprise, I absolutely loved „Tear it up“ last year. It was the best opener, that I have seen so far, and had much more punch than WWRY. It’s not really a great song, but it worked as the opening song.

And then I always love „The Show must go on“. I was so happy, when it was back after a longer pause! (They didn’t play it in the USA 2017, right?).

No, they didn't perform it in 2017. Shame.
