I never actually liked this track first time round, but this version has grown on me. I think it really is something different - and I think Freddie would appreciate that fact. There's almost a Beatles-esque feel to the drums and backing music I feel. And the female singer's voice goes lovely with Fred's.

I would like to see more of this kind of thing now; I think QPL could really do something decent if they took some more of Freddie's and Queen's unfinished demos and gave them to some up and coming singers and producers and asked them to create their own songs.

Here it is, anyway. New York... At Last.

A Freddie Mercury demo, that someone's added a load of samples (including Queen ones) to, ages ago. Ten out of ten to whoever made it, it,'s still brilliant, nearly 20 years down the road.

I’m a big fan of New York, Freddie’s vocals are spot on

I finally got mine delivered, and I've listened to it for a few times now.
The full mix is indeed a more complete version, and better than the single mix.

Musically it doesn't sound too far from something Roger would do, and listening to the instrumental versions it's more interesting than Face It Alone.
