Occasional forum downtime over the next day or two

I'm going to be doing several updates to various parts of the forum software over the next couple of days. No noticeable changes to functionality as such, mainly security updates and the like.

If the forum is unavailable at any time when you visit, please just try again shortly after, each update shouldn't take too long.

Thanks

At the moment, and for the past few minutes, I can't log out, even though I've t refreshed the page to see if that worked.
Mfm may have been right after all :P.

Nothing to do with me (yet), I haven't actually got round to updating anything on here yet as I ran into a couple of minor issues on my test server with the updates so have been correcting those and testing them first before running them up on here.

...maybe your Log Out button got stuck, how long has it been since you last pressed it? :P

Hours since it last worked, and just before this I tried it again. I ended up leaving the page open earlier, and it logged out by itself.
ETA a couple of hours later~I can log out now :stupid:.

Ian will be sure to let us know if there is. This board is working much better than the last one, despite a few quibbles (with my computer) I'm happy to say :) .

I never knew about the other board - I assume that's what the Old Forum Archive means. What was it really like? How did it get closed down..? Just wondering.

And my device works well with this board, btw. :)

It was a great, friendly, supportive board. This board is less active, with fewer posters/threads/discussions.
Not sure why that one closed down, I wasn't around before it did.

Would love to have been a part of that board then, had I known about it...
