The Cross - Life Changes

Post by robdeighton »

Question... on ‘blue rock’ the final track is ‘Life Changes’

Is brian an uncredited backing singer - some of the harmonies sound very much like Brian. Not the first time roger has had uncredited queen members from his solo album - Freddie as uncredited on ‘killing time’ on ‘strange frontier’.

Something about this song I love - would have been great on innuendo

Could well be Brian May.
Queen were never really "open" about the origins of their "solo-recordings". Even "Heaven for everyone" (Freddie-version on Cross album) sounded more like an outtake from Queen (even the guitar). While Roger told the press, that Freddie wanted to sing on this Cross-track...
Same goes for "Man on Fire" with May's guitar very audible, the song was originally intended for the Works, so it could be the "outtake".
Even Freddie used "Queen"-outtakes for "Mr. Bad Guy" while pretending in the liner notes, that the other three had nothing to with his album...

I think it's Peter Noone. You get a warm voice, double track it with RT in the right intervals and it just sounds big.
