Let's see here...crunchy guitar riffs, explosive drum fills, raw and emotional vocals, brilliant contrast with the second section before returning in ternary fashion...why in the hell would they not have finished such a hard rocking tune. It should have at the very least been put out as a B-side.



I think most of us are familiar with the old debate: 1972 sessions or NOTW sessions. Apparently, Tim Staffell wrote the song, but I've never seen any credible evidence to support this claim. It certainly sounds like something that would fit perfectly within the realm of their first two albums, but Freddie's voice and the overall texture feel more like a NOTW outtake. Regardless, it's fucking awesome.

It's ok but I like Polar Bear a lot more. Just like the tune, more. To each their own, I guess.

I supposed its entirely possible they recorded it at both, and this demo is simply the later attempt.
