The new version sounds so much better. The original was a half-decent collection of songs almost entirely ruined by terrible production. At the end of the day, whether the new version is what Freddie would've wanted doesn't mean much compared to my listening enjoyment.
I like to think he'd be happy to see the album getting a new lease of life, but who really knows.
Jim Beach says that Freddie wasn't happy with his album. I wonder why. Is the sound quality to blame or the quality of the songs? Who knows?
