Maybe I read it wrong and the pseudonym was for his bass playing persona.

Watching an ABBA programme on BBC4. Apparently their highest chart entry was at number 8. Quite amazing for a band that had nine number ones. Cannot remember the song though.

On a quick scan of ABBA #1s, the highest week one placing I could find was The Winner Takes It All at number 10.

Agreed, I would be surprised if any Queen single in the 70s peaked on it's first week, even second week in many cases

I would have thought Under Pressure stood the best chance, what with being a non-album single, at the time, and having Mr Bowie on there, but no, #8 in the first week, then onto #1.
