Las Palabras de Amor (The Words of Love)

• Top of the Pops, 17th June 1982 - Alternate Take

Unknown

An alternative take from Top of the Pops is rumoured to exist, distinguishable by the band wearing shades. This may be a rehearsal of the performance. It may no longer exist in the BBC Archives. A photo from the take exists, and can be seen here.

This version appears to contain a unique mix of Under Pressure. At present, I cannot verify if this is official.

That at least means it's not a myth. Though the point stands - it may no longer exist. While the BBC stopped actively deleting their programming around 1978, anything that was considered 'excess' was usually still wiped. A lot of the deleted scenes on Doctor Who dvds from the 1980s, for example, only exist because the producer kept copies for himself.
